The first Russian festival of modern webmusic, named NetAudio Moscow, presents the most interesting national participants from the net: in one place, in one time. This great international idea, started few years ago as NetAudio London, continued next as NetAudio Berlin — now comes to Moscow, with a festival presented by NetAudio Russia, the fresh actual music division of Musica Excentrica label!

MUJUICE (Moscow, Capital of Russia)
Roman Litvinov, known as Mujuice, is one of the most stylish electornic musicians in Russia, at the moment. He has recorded several netrelases, appeared on Fragment, How2Make and Igloo, but his most popular albums are “Superqueer” and “Cool Cool Death”. Soft electronica, chiptunes elements, tender sampadelica and even rock-music — it all about Mujuice! At NetAudio Moscow 2008 Mujuice will perform exclusive programm with a special VJ-set from Vlad Inr.

VOLGA (Moscow, Capital of Russia)
Angela Manukian, Alexei Borisov, Yuri Balashov and Roman Lebedev have created the most, and the only well-known, in international music area, Russian project, working in folklore/authentic style, connecting together Slavic ancient and national songs and actual electronic tunes. The new Volga album will soon appear on Musica Excentrica label, as a free net-release. At NetAudio Moscow 2008 Volga will play live with its new programme.

TAIGA (Saint-Petersburg, North Region of Russia)
Taiga is a solo project of Denis Taiga from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, exists with a wide collaborations by other musicians, that affected in his latest Bitter Tragic Joke album on ElectroSound. Sampladelic experience and ethnic eclectic jazz are the basic lines of Taiga: we can hear a lot of samples from Soviet movie pictures and cassette tapes, mixed with authentic folklore recordings and modern electronics. While mixing, the source dissolves in some kind of deep sound clew, named Hypno.

AMBIDEXTROUS (Moscow, Capital of Russia)
Nick Zavriev, at the moment, is one of the most experienced and well-known Russian electronic musician, celebrated the 10 years anniversary of his Ambidextrous project this year. His sound is a combination of tender melodic tunes with deep and sharp structures, full of guitar and samples from various analog sources. Ambidextrous and Morkva album, named A&M and released this year on ElectroSound, sounds like intelligent music with instrumental filling, on the verge of idm and soft rock.

MONOKLE (Arkhangelsk — Saint-Petersburg, North Region of Russia)
Vlad Kudryavtsev and Alexander Kumach passed a long way from minimal idm experiments to full-power electronic and rock music. In Monokle’s last album, Ideas Aloud, released on ElectroSound, the group combines live guitar and piano themes with a sharp synthetic tunes, that balance at the edges of psychedelic music and entertaining genres.

K.D. EXPRESSION (Ekaterinburg, Ural Region of Russia)
Sergey Yakimov, also known as SM and Deadline, appears regularly on various ElectroSound releases. His music, especially Anachromantic album, starts with psychedelic beats with crystal-clear synthetic melodies, suddenly continues with deep and warmer themes full of syncopated rhythms and rich ambient dub forms.
